William Moss

My name is William Moss. I am a fourth-generation Arizonan and current senior at Arizona State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Construction Management & Technology with a 3.99 GPA. I have an anticipated graduation date of May 2026, and have a passion for both construction and law.

I was raised in Fort Mohave, Arizona, a small unincorporated community right off of the Colorado River, and graduated from River Valley High School as Valedictorian in 2022. After graduation, I clerked for Mohave Law, a personal injury and bankruptcy law firm, before starting my education at ASU, where I have had the opportunity to immerse myself deeply within the community. At ASU, I am currently the Vice President of Sigma Lambda Chi, the Construction Management Honors Society, and am involved in other student organizations such as the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and the Leadership Scholarship Program (LSP). Additionally, I serve as a Project Advisor for ASU Barrett’s Global Resolve Program, an international service learning program that aims to help address developmental challenges in the Global South. Through Global Resolve, I traveled twice to Hermosillo, Mexico as a part of a binational initiative aiming to research and create solutions for effective water management in the Sonoran Desert region.

This summer, I am interning as a Project Engineer at Big-D Construction Southwest, gaining valuable experience with an innovative and dynamic commercial construction company. Last year, I worked for Fairway Constructors, Inc., a residential construction company, and rotated around a dozen subcontracting crews, working hands-on with the tradesmen and learning about the design-build process. I have also had multiple internships with the Mohave County Attorney's Office, where I assisted senior prosecutors in drafting motions, charging cases, and helping conduct trial preparation and evidence review.

As an Arizona Business Leader (AzBL) Scholar for the 2025-26 academic year, I hope to learn from other passionate and driven individuals whose career successes and values of community leadership can help inform my professional journey. In my view, community engagement and collaboration are vital aspects of meaningful professional development, and I believe that surrounding myself with leaders who prioritize the betterment of others will allow me to grow as both a leader and an aspiring business owner. I am extremely excited for this opportunity to be mentored by and learn from proven, value-driven leaders, and I am very grateful for Dr. Wilkinson for introducing me to this great organization.
