Lin Sue Flood has been an impressive presence in the Valley since 1984, first as anchor at 12 News, now using her gifts to serve at not-for-profit Hospice of the Valley.

AzBL is excited to welcome Lin Sue at the final meeting of the season on May 4, 2023.

As director of community engagement for Arizona’s leading hospice care provider, Lin Sue oversees marketing, fund development and volunteer programs for Hospice of the Valley. She is passionate about helping families find comfort, dignity, and compassion when they need care for serious illness or dementia. She also oversees special community programs like music therapy, community grief support, and tributes for military veterans.

Prior to her work with hospice care, Lin Sue spent 36 years as a newscaster—31 of them at local NBC affiliate 12News. In 2022, Az Big Media named Lin Sue as one of the Most Influential Women, a long overdue honor.

We are excited for the opportunity to hear Lin Sue’s inspiring story as she transitioned from news anchor to her encore career. We know she will have many insightful things to share about the journey that led her to Hospice of the Valley. We look forward to connecting with you there!
