K2 Adventure Travel & K2 Adventures Foundation

We are thrilled to welcome Kristen Sandquist and Kevin Cherilla from K2 Adventure Travel and K2 Adventures Foundation as our speakers on September 10, 2024. K2 Adventure Travel specializes in immersive and unforgettable, community-focused travel experiences, that perfectly complement K2 Adventures Foundation’s mission of providing medical support, programs and assistance to individuals with disabilities, as well as incorporating assisted travel opportunities within the United States and around the world. Kristen and Kevin started these organizations and programs to pair outdoor hiking adventures with life changing community service experiences, as well as a way to promote healing and support mental wellness through spending time in the outdoors.

Kevin and Kristen have led over 1,500 individuals safely to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro and on guided tours through the Andes in South America and the Himalayas in Nepal. They also have led hundreds of people across the Grand Canyon for the 25.5-mile Rim-to-Rim hike. Both are international mountain guides and certified NOLS Wilderness First Responders.

Join us for an exclusive opportunity to learn about K2 Adventures and how Kristen and Kevin started both the travel company and the foundation based on a vision of changing lives one adventure at a time. Come and hear what it takes (training, preparation, mindset) to get to the summit, especially for those who may have physical challenges.
