Managing Director at Fahrenheit Advisors

Growing up in a family business in a small farming community in North Central Illinois set the stage and foundation for my work ethic and desire to help people and companies succeed. With an interest in leadership from a very young age, I found myself constantly seeking ways to get involved, help and lead others. Being the oldest of three children, my younger brother and sister were the first to see my budding “leadership skills”. They called me bossy and I took that as a compliment, although I know that wasn’t the spirit with which their comments were intended!

With my degree in Organization Leadership, I moved to the Valley 14 years ago to get away from the cold winters of Illinois and I chose to devote my time to consulting and coaching small and mid-sized businesses across the Phoenix-Metro area. With my passion for leadership, I was fortunate enough to align with Fahrenheit Advisors. After twenty-four years, engaged in a career focused on consulting, training, and coaching, I took that focus and aligned it in a way that allows me to support a team of 18 talented and skilled consultants that guide our human capital practice in Arizona.

Fahrenheit is a national firm, with a local presence. Our local team offers fractional and operational HR leadership support, advisory services, project consulting, executive coaching, and training. My role is focused on leading our team and growing a solid client base in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, designed to substantially improve the productivity and profitability of businesses through their Human Capital initiatives. An entrepreneurial upbringing, passion for leadership and people, and my desire to help others succeed fuels the commitment to support businesses in our community.

Arizona is most likely my “forever home” as my husband Greg and I have established business roots, deep friendships, and a great love for this state. Our son Nicholas just turned 11. Our “desert baby” as we call him, enjoys our family time hiking, bike-riding, and playing sports. We still visit our Midwest roots with annual trips to the Chicago-land area to see our family and friends and we always make sure those visits are planned for spring or summer, so we avoid the cold weather!

A few years ago, Terry Hindmarch and Brad Harper introduced me to AzBL, and I was fortunate to meet Michael Mizrachi, who has been instrumental in connecting me through events and helping me see the great opportunity in the relationships that this group has to offer. I look forward to getting to know our members, getting involved, and supporting our business community.
