John T. "Jack" Wertheim is President and Chief Executive Officer of Single Stick, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of tobacco products located in Phoenix, Arizona .  Jack helped the Company raise over $12 million in financing during the past seven years and has managed the growth of the Company’s revenues from $300,000 in 1997 to over $25 million last year.  The Company’s branded products are sold in over 40,000 convenience stores and tobacco outlets nationwide which includes national accounts with 7-11, Circle K and Mobil.  Prior to Single Stick, he spent over 24 years in banking having served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Caliber Bank of Arizona and Valley Bank of Arizona.  Mr. Wertheim has enjoyed the change from banking, as he has been able to employ his CPA and computer skills learned as a consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. in New York City .

Mr. Wertheim is and has been very active in community activities.  As an attendee of the first organizational meeting of ENI, he has served on its Board of Directors several times as well as program chairman twice.  He also serves on the Board of Arizona Business Leadership and the Crisis Nursery Foundation.  He is a member of the finance committee of United Way and has previously served on its Board of Directors for 10 years.  He is also active with the Phoenix Rotary Club 100.
