James D. Mulligan is the President and a founding member of MAKEWISE, LLC, a Phoenix based consulting firm which provides services in the areas of business management consulting; operations consulting; technology planning; business systems analysis, design and reengineering; software selection; network design; software development, computerized accounting systems; and computer modeling.

Jim is also a Principal and founding member of Chief Security Officers, LLC, a Scottsdale based consulting firm which is a leading provider of information systems audit, forensic, security and compliance services.

Jim has over 20 years of experience in systems analysis and design, computer information systems, information systems security, financial management, business operations, and accounting.  He has provided his technical consulting services to public and private companies ranging in size from small development-stage companies to companies with equity in excess of $100 million and in a wide range of industries including banking, insurance, nonprofit, medical, franchise, computer technology, software development, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, architectural, legal, accounting, education, food processing, and financing.

Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and has earned the Certified Information Systems Auditor certification. He is a member of the Arizona Technology Council, the Society for Information Management, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, the IEEE, the IEEE Computer Society, Arizona Business Leadership, Arizona Cyber Security Alliance and the Arizona State University Department of Information Systems Professional Advisory Board.
