Mission Statement
The Arizona Business Leadership Association, Inc. provides its members with the opportunity to pursue excellence in business leadership.

Purpose of the Arizona Business Leadership Award
The purpose of the Arizona Business Leadership Award™ is to recognize an Arizona business that has excelled in aligning itself with the goals of the Arizona Business Leadership Association. Strong Arizona Companies are vital to our economic landscape. ABL strives to recognize organizations that embody our ideals. By spotlighting our award recipients’ successes, we showcase our own establishment.

Criteria and Minimum Requirements
Demonstration of how the company has (i) shown leadership within the Arizona business community AND within the nominee's own industry (ii) excelled at financial growth, (iii) promoted community activity, and (iv) supported business education.

Minimum requirement for consideration is consistent revenues and sustained profits for at least the last three fiscal years and annual revenues in excess of $5,000,000 for the last fiscal year. To maintain the confidential nature of the financial information of private companies being recommended, ABL does not require financial information be submitted with the application.

Professionalism as demonstrated in the quality of the nomination submittal.

Nominations
Any member of ABL may nominate a company that meets the minimum criteria for the award. To be considered, nominations must be submitted in the form provided in the following pages, and must be received by ABL no later than 5:00 p.m. February 23, 2007. Members of the awards selection committee cannot nominate or have a related interest to any of the nominated companies.

As a primary part of the nomination, we request that the sponsor or CEO of the nominated company submit a
letter, in 500 words or less, explaining how the nominee meets the above criteria.

After evaluation of the nominations, up to five companies will be selected by the Awards Committee for further consideration. At that time, detailed information will be requested from the selected companies to aid the Committee in its selection process.

The Committee will select three finalists. The Committee will then visit each finalist to gain a fuller appreciation of that Company's qualifications, operations and organization.

The winner will be selected and notified following the Committee visits. The CEO will represent the winning Company and receive the award at the Award Ceremony.
